Our Daily Rev Up! Come Thither This Thursday
Today’s rev-up is brought to you by a scraped knee and a simple act of kindness - shared last night at our community meal.
While driving, we passed a young boy who had fallen off his bike. Something nudged us to turn around and check on him. By the time we got back, a local tradie had stopped too. Together we made sure he was okay and helped him get home safely.
It wasn’t a big thing. No fanfare. Just people noticing and caring.
The Bible says, “Be kind and compassionate to one another.” (Ephesians 4:32)
Kindness is king because it reminds people they matter. A smile, a helping hand, a listening ear, or stopping for a scraped knee can make all the difference.
So today, keep your eyes open. Who might need a little kindness from you? You may never know the impact, but God can use even the smallest act to brighten someone’s day.
Go well, be kind, and let kindness reign today.
Kindness is king. Go and wear the crown well.

Our Daily Rev Up! Wednesday Wonders!
At Mainly Music this week I broke out into a full Kookaburra laugh during our “Kookaburra sits in the old gum tree” song. Then this morning I woke to a whole chorus of kookaburras right beside our house, laughing and cackling away.
Now here’s a fun fact: a group of kookaburras is called a riot! And let me tell you, they were certainly causing a riot outside our house this morning—laughing, cackling, and making the dogs bark.
It made me smile and reminded me that God’s gifts are often found in the simple things: a bird’s call, a shared laugh, a moment of wonder that brightens the day.
“This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” (Psalm 118:24)
May this Wednesday bring you a holy riot of joy, laughter, and gratitude as you notice the little wonders God places along your path.

Our Daily Rev Up! Triple Tuesday – Do, Love, Walk
“God has shown you what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.” – Micah 6:8
Sometimes we wonder what we’re meant to do today. Micah gives us a simple pattern for life: Do what is right. Love what is kind. Walk closely with God.
As you head into this Triple Tuesday, look for one opportunity to do good, one chance to show mercy, and one moment to walk humbly with God. A kind word, a helping hand, a listening ear, a quiet prayer — these small things can make a big difference.
May God guide your doing, shape your loving, and steady your walking today. (Pic was taken to send to Susan’s Mum who is in hospital and it made her day )

Our Daily Rev Up! – Monday Motivation
Inspired by yesterday’s reading at church and brought to you today by hospitality!
“Is anything too wonderful for the Lord?” (Genesis 18:14)
Abraham welcomed strangers, shared a meal, and discovered God was up to something extraordinary. Sometimes God’s blessings arrive around a table, over a cuppa, or through a simple act of welcome.
Today, may we receive God’s hospitality and pass it on—a smile, a chat, an open chair, a kind word.
After all, if nothing is too wonderful for God, who knows what God might do through a small act of welcome today?
Blessings, and don’t forget to leave room at the table.
