Our Daily Rev Up - Monday Motivation – Candle of Peace!

Yesterday we lit the candle of Peace, holding a smooth river stone—gentle, sturdy, shaped by flowing waters.

As we enter Monday, remember that Jesus’ peace meets us just like that stone: calming, steadying, and strong enough to hold us through whatever comes.

Jesus says, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you.” (John 14:27)

May His peace settle your spirit and guide your steps today.

Our Daily Rev Up! Two for Tuesday – Cool & Refreshed

Good morning. I stepped outside early today and oh my goodness—what a difference. After all that heat, the cool air wrapped around me like a deep breath for the soul. It was refreshing in every way.

And it brought to mind that beautiful proverb:

“Whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.” (Proverbs 11:25)

Just like that cool breeze renewed me this morning, our generosity, kindness, and encouragement can do the same—for others and for us. When we pour out grace, we get filled right back up.

So this Two for Tuesday, let’s do both:

Be refreshed. And go refresh someone else.

A message, a smile, a helping hand, a prayer… it all matters.

Let’s carry that cool breeze into someone’s day.

Wednesday’s Wonders

Our Daily Rev Up! Wednesday Wonders – Looking Up

This morning I caught myself just looking up… watching the birds glide so effortlessly across the sky. No rush. No panic. Just grace in motion. And it made me wonder: what does it really mean to be free?

Maybe freedom isn’t about having everything sorted. Maybe it’s simply being held. Like the birds carried by the wind, we are carried by God.

So take a deep breath in…

And as you breathe out, let go of what’s weighing you down today.

Jesus reminds us: “Look at the birds of the air… your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?” — Matthew 6:26

If God watches over them, how much more will He watch over you?

So let’s glide into this day—light, hopeful, and trusting the One who lifts us when we can’t lift ourselves.

Bless ya

Come Thither this Thursday

Our Daily Rev Up! Come Thither This Thursday.

As we gathered around the table at our community meal, I’m reminded again that in God’s kingdom, everything is provided. Today’s spark was inspired by last night’s “food for thought” as we sat shoulder to shoulder, sharing life, laughter, and a meal that somehow stretched and blessed everyone present.

It took me straight to Matthew’s Gospel—the feeding of the 4,000. The crowd was tired and hungry. The disciples focused on what they didn’t have:

“We don’t have enough.”

But Jesus simply asked, “What do you have?”

And from that small offering, compassion overflowed and thousands were fed.

That’s what we saw last night. When we focus on what we do have, and pull it together, God’s provision always unfolds. He shows up. He fills the table. He fills us.

So come thither this Thursday with open hands and open hearts. Bring what you have—even if it feels small. Trust the God who multiplies every good thing.
