Our Daily Rev-Up — Wednesday Wonders (brought to you by the letter W)

W is for Wednesday.

W is for Wonders.

W is for Worry… and

W is for Worship.

Philippians 4:6 reminds us:

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”

How often does our mind wake up and immediately begin to wander into worry?

The what-ifs.

The to-dos.

The unknowns.

The pressures of the day ahead.

But today, on this Wednesday Wonder, we are invited into a holy swap:

When you start to worry… choose to worship.

Worry looks inward.

Worship lifts our eyes upward.

Worry tightens the chest.

Worship opens the heart.

Worry whispers fear.

Worship declares trust.

The very moment you feel worry rising, let that be your cue — your reminder — your holy prompt to turn it into worship.

A whispered prayer.

A song in the kitchen.

Gratitude in the car.

A quiet “thank You” in the middle of the mess.

And watch what happens.

Because when worship rises, worry loses its voice.

May this Wednesday be full of wonders as you trade your worry for worship.

Oaily Rev-Up – Two for Tuesday: New Beginnings

So many new beginnings are unfolding today. A new school year starts, Mainly Music kicks off this morning, and there’s a sense of fresh rhythm and fresh opportunity in the air.

In every new beginning, God is already there. God doesn’t wait for us to step into it — God goes before us, bringing peace, presence, and a beautiful freshness to the day.

“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way…” — Isaiah 43:19

May you notice the “new thing” God is doing today. May you feel divine nearness in every conversation, every task, every first step.

This day is new. Mercy is new. And God is with you in it.

Our Daily Rev Up! Monday Mindfulness Australia Day
We bless you, God of the universe,
for this land,
for its contrasts of landscape and climate,
for its abundance of wealth and opportunity.
We bless you for our history,
with all its struggles in adversity,
its courage and hope.
Give us in our diversity
tolerance and respect for each other
and a passionate commitment to justice for all.
Bless us so that we might be a blessing to others.
We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Loving God,

on this National Day of Mourning, we pause as a nation to grieve lives lost, hearts broken, and communities changed. Hold close those who mourn, comfort those who ache with unanswered questions, and bring your gentle peace where sorrow feels overwhelming.

May compassion rise among us, may hope not be extinguished, and may we walk together with care, justice, and kindness.

Into your loving hands we commend all who grieve today.

Amen.
