Our Daily Rev-Up – Come Thither This Thursday
Last night at the community meal, as people sat down with their plates, it struck me again—what we see is just the surface. Behind every meal is a quiet unfolding of care. Food gathered, often through the generosity of OzHarvest, hands sorting, planning, prepping, cooking, serving, and cleaning.
So much happens before anyone even takes a bite.
And isn’t that a glimpse of God?
Working behind the scenes… in the unseen, in the ordinary, in the many small acts of love that hold people together.
A gentle reminder for us today—there is more happening than what we see. In your life, in others’ lives, in this world. God is at work in the background, weaving care through people, through moments, through simple acts.
“Let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.” — 1 John 3:18
So step into today knowing this:
You might be the “behind the scenes” for someone else.
A quiet kindness. A steady presence. A simple act of love.
And that… makes all the difference.

Our Daily Rev Up! Wednesday Wonders in preparing for our service this morning - Jesus says in John’s Gospel, “My Father is still working, and I also am working.” (John 5:17)
Even when the world feels heavy, uncertain, or a little worn out, God has not stopped working. Quietly, gently, faithfully, God is still bringing life, healing, and hope into the world.
In this season of Lent, it’s a reminder for us to slow down enough to notice where God is already at work — in a kind word, a helping hand, a moment of grace.
So today, keep your eyes open.
Because even in the ordinary moments of this day, God is still at work… and inviting us to join in.
Blessings for the day ahead.er.

Our Daily Rev-Up — Two for Tuesday: Light and Dark
Lying on the floor during playtime with our fur babies, I looked up through the window. The sky was heavy with dark clouds, yet the sun was still pushing through, trying to shine. It brought a smile to my face — a quiet reminder that light always finds a way.
Whatever clouds might be around today, may the light break through and brighten your day.
“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overcome it.” — John 1:5

Daily Rev-Up – Monday Motivation!
In the stillness of the early morning, I sat quietly… and then I heard it — the whip bird calling out across the bush. Sharp. Clear. Like it was saying, “Come on, get a crack on with the day!”
Creation has a way of waking us up — not just from sleep, but into purpose. A new day, a new gift, a new chance to live the love of God.
As the psalmist reminds us:
“This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” – Psalm 118:24
So as the whip bird calls, so does God.
Rise up. Step out.
And get a crack on with the day, carrying God’s joy wherever we go.
