Our Daily Rev Up! Two for Tuesday

Jesus says in Gospel of John 14:2 —

“In my Father’s house are many rooms…”

God’s love? Wide open.

No “fully booked” signs. No standing room only.

There is space for you — just as you are.

But here’s the gentle nudge…

Love makes room, yes — and it invites a response.

Jesus also says, “I am the way…” (John 14:6)

So we don’t just admire the doorway… we step in.

We trust. We follow. We say yes.

And hey — we get to practise that today!

There’s room at the table…

Room for a cuppa…

Room for one more chair (always one more chair!)

Morning tea, 10:30am at Banjo’s Bakery Cafe at the Plaza

Come as you are — and maybe take one small step toward Jesus today too

Coffee helps… but He’s the real life-giver

God is with you. In every breath.

Our Daily Rev Up – Come Thither This Thursday

Last night at our community meal, we were reminded of something simple, but powerful:

We get to choose the kind of space we create.

There is already enough conflict, harshness, and hurt in the world… we don’t need it here. What we do need—what we want—is a place of peace, safety, and care.

Jesus says, “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.” (Matthew 5:9)

That’s us.

Peacemakers in the small things—

in what we think…

in what we say…

in how we treat one another.

Every smile, every kind word, every moment of patience builds something good.

And as Scripture reminds us:

“Encourage one another and build each other up.” (1 Thessalonians 5:11)

So today, come thither with intention—

to be gentle

to be kind

to build, not break down

Because together, we are creating a space where people can breathe, belong, and be safe.

Let’s be the peace we want to see.

Our Daily Rev Up! Wednesday Wonders – The Blessing of Giving & Receiving

Yesterday was one of those beautiful, everyday God moments.

I’d ordered the wrong coffee capsules… so I put them out as a giveaway, hoping someone else could use them. No big deal, just a small act of letting go.

And then—on that very same day—someone gifted me the exact capsules I needed for my machine.

Isn’t that just like God?

A gentle reminder that when we open our hands to give, we also make space to receive.

The Bible says:

“Give, and it will be given to you… For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” (Luke 6:38)

God’s economy isn’t about transactions—it’s about trust, generosity, and grace flowing both ways.

So today, what might it look like to give freely… and receive gratefully?

Because sometimes, the smallest acts carry the biggest blessings.

Monday Motivation

Mon 27 April 2026

Our Daily Rev Up!
Monday motivation… and we’re still in this beautiful season of resurrection.
And into this season, we hear Jesus, our Good Shepherd, say:
“I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.” (John 10:10)
This isn’t just any life…
This is resurrection life.
Life that has come through the cross…
Life that has overcome death…
Life that is alive in us right now.
Because the risen Jesus isn’t distant—
he is present… leading, calling, restoring.
The Good Shepherd walks ahead of us this week,
not just helping us get through it…
but inviting us to live it fully.
To live with hope instead of fear.
To live with peace instead of pressure.
To live with love that flows from him.
That’s the abundance he speaks of—
his life in us.
So today…
listen for his voice.
Follow where he leads.
And don’t settle for just getting by.
You are invited to live the resurrected life—
full, alive, and held in his love.
Because the Good Shepherd is risen…
and his life is alive in you.
Go well, friends
